Hi Paul, did you ever get a response regarding this? I've noticed the same and have put a similar case in with the helpdesk but yet to hear back. This is causing us to have records on FRM37 and cannot find any mention in the funding rules that the ESFA expect you to round within the calculation, so feel like we should not be penalized for this.

Sorry to jump on this post, but Steve Hewitt, if you have offered substitute activities relating to work preparation (interview preparation with local employers etc), would you be recording that as a 'placement' against the work experience aim? It doesn't feel quite right to as it's not strictly a work experience placement and is essentially enrichment.. not to mention, would save a lot of work! We have the evidence recorded in our learner ILP so assume that would be sufficient.. but I don't want to cut the corner without a sounding board. Thanks as always!

And at that point, I feel the line starts to blur between independent study and homework.. so in my head, make sure it's genuinely integrated into timetables, a tutor is available to support during the time-slot where remote (or a room is allocated with a staff member present so that the study is directed rather than independent) and have a register to back it all up!

Thanks, that's great - just didn't want us to be solely reliant on registers if an auditor would expect us to evidence the work taking place in those sessions, for example!
