We have had this a few times, if you contact the apprenticeship service helpdesk they will attempt to contact the employer themselves to stop the record up to 3 times. If the employer still doesn't stop the record after a period of time (I think it is 4 weeks), the helpdesk will apply the stop date themselves, they will not do it until they have contacted the employer first though.

We aren't currently running any new Traineeships but the ones we already had running, we are continuing to run classroom learning remotely but we can't do much about them being unable to attend placement. We haven't reduced the hours though as we had planned the placements, I'm not sure what we can do if they haven't been able to attend due to Covid? We have plans to get them in placement once lockdown ends but unsure when that will be!

The contribution is 5% of the monthly on programme payment e.g Total negotiated price * 80% / number of installments and then the final 20% on completion. This example would be correct as your monthly OPP is £22,000 x 80% = £17,600/24 = £733.33 (monthly OPP) x 5% = £36.67 At completion it will be 5% of the remaining 20% completion payment

They are sent to the employer, we do request to our awarding bodies that they are sent to the apprentice where they leave the employer but this doesn't always work.

Is there a gap in employment/reason why this isn't recorded as a change of employer?

That's great, thank you! We had one appear on our FRMs recently (they hadn't achieved) and it caused panic!

Thank you - we've been informed by the learner that they have attempted the level 1 maths with another provider through AEB, would we be unable to claim, even though they didn't achieve?
