It is still mentioned in the 21/22 rules. That said I am sure the agency told me a while ago that 16-18 and Levy funding is exempt from Match funding requirements.

Hi Steve I may be clutching at straws but isn't there something to be said if they left the UK they as a child i.e. was it really their decision? I might be wrong and it may still be 3 years regardless

Hi Martin, I can see in the funding rules it says Uk members of the armed forces are classed as ordinary resident jn the UK but it does say must meet conditions elsewhere. Where have you picked up that they are exempt from the 3 year rule?

I believe there is something in the rules that makes reference to if a learner normally lives in England but doesnt because of their job they still meet the rules . I'll leave this for Steve or Martin to advise as they probably no more.

Yes has to be within the hours bracket but you dont necessarily have to deliver all of the hours it has to be based on the planned hours i.e. on a scheme of work

They wouldn't be able to apply to renew until much closer to the expiry date so in answer to your question Id say yes you can enrol them. The risk obviously is if they dont get it renewed they would be a withdrawal in your data.
