I would recommend Bud as an end to end system, straight forward for learners, trainers and managers to use with a raft of helpful reports and always evolving. Worth getting multiple companies to give you a demo.

1. No, count new learning 2. No, they are not on a BIL and could not achieve whilst on one, the work would not count. Sorry, yes they will be PPED.

Totally agree with Steve. I am aware of Providers that do this but it is in the extra T's and C's and is binding. We do not!

I have had a query in since July 11th to also clarify if an apprentice has a prior qualification that is above that we assess them as having can they access flexibilities. I will come back if and when I get a response. I have added the all apprentices question to the query.

Yes, scroll up in the chat. Judgement of an apprentice’s current level 43. If an apprentice does not have acceptable evidence of previous attainment of English and / or maths the provider must carry out an assessment of their current level. 43.1. The provider must use current assessment tools based on the National Standards for Adult Literacy and Numeracy Subject content Functional Skills: English and Subject content Functional Skills: Mathematics. 44. The assessment outcome is used to determine the level the apprentice must start working towards and does not remove the requirement to achieve the minimum required level in English and maths (see paragraphs 38 to 39).
