Hi Louise, You should already have data available in Understand Your Funding as long as you have made an ILR return, we are aware it can sometimes take a few seconds for the page to populate so we are looking at performance improvements in this space. If you are still not seeing any data please can you raise a query with the service desk, including your UKPRN, and we will look into this further for you.

Hi Claire, Enter Learning Data is currently available for funded or non-funded apprenticeship standards care to learn (FM82) Apprenticeship Units will be available in the service from August 2026 under the new funding model (FM39). Other funding models are being added to the service and we will notify users when these are available. Thanks Lynne

Hi Teresa, Within Enter Learning Data you do not need to enter the ACT code as the system should populate this automatically. Unfortunately we have identified an issue in that when you add learning aims to a learner that is already on a course, the ACT record is not being populated for the new aims. This has now been resolved so any future aims that are added will have the ACT code recorded correctly. To resolve the issue for your current aims, you can remove and re-add the affected aims. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused by this. Development of this service is ongoing and we will continue to undertake user research. Hi Paul, Thank you for your feedback on Enter Learning Data, development of the service is ongoing and we're keen to hear from our users. 1 - Each academic year will only allow you to import files with a matching year in the filename. You can import a 24/25 file into the 24/25 year and then migrate the data to 25/26, or you can import a 25/26 file into the 25/26 year. We will look to include this in our published guidance. 2 - We will update our guidance on gov.uk (Enter learning data: using the service - GOV.UK) to include reference to recording learners who have completed their learning activities but have not yet completed their end point assessment. We will also review the wording in the 'Record an update' pages to make this clearer 3 & 4 - We're really interested to learn more about the impact of both of these points, we will contact you by email to take this forward. Hello, We are currently in the early stages of rolling out our new tool - Enter Learning Data (ELD). This is an alternative to LET that we have been testing with providers over the past year. We have started a phase we call public beta in which providers use the new tool for their ILR submissions and provide us with some feedback on their experience. Similar to LET the new tool will be free to providers with the purpose of inputting data on their learners and producing an ILR file for submission on SLD. However, ELD has been designed to improve the data entry process for providers, therefore looks and operates different to LET and there are no restrictions on learner counts. Victoria Mansfield Users currently need the 'Submit Learner Data - Standard Submissions' role in DfE Sign In to access the Understand Your Funding dashboards. This role gives access to submit and view ILR files and reports in addition to accessing the dashboards. We are considering whether an additional role to give access only to the dashboards is required and we would welcome views on this, either by replying to this message or completing the Feedback survey in the service.

Hi Martin, Thank you for your feedback, we have investigated this and have identified a bug in the dashboard which is causing apprenticeship funding to display incorrectly. We have prepared a fix for this and expect it to be released early this week. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused by this.
