I agree with Ruth Canham-James I've had the pleasure of this before on ESFA audit. Our learners follow a scheme of work for enrichment and work related activity at 60 hours but we make sure the learner has at least 50% positive attendance before completing them as achieved. If the aim is achieved an auditor will expect to see a non regulated cert with the qual code and last date of attendance to match the ILR and registers. As we deliver all our EEP aims at the back end of the progamme they didn't question the completion status of each aim and just wanted to see the cert evidence as the learners had already gone past their funding qualification period.

I wouldn't risk putting them on anything lower than what their PLR states. Could you not use a FS non regulated aim/code to refresh the knowledge before putting them on to the actual FS aim if they havent got a L2? Thanks

Our committee is made up from MIS Management, Financial Managers/Accountants who are employed by our Organisation plus 1 non exec Finance Director. Membership of the audit & risk committee 3.6. Where an ITP has an audit and risk committee, it is recommended the committee includes: • A minimum of 3 people. • Non-executive directors, where appointed. • People with the relevant skills to carry out the responsibilities listed above. • If possible, people with experience relevant to the organisation.

I cant comment on industry placements but for WEX we class the placement as achieved if the learner has attended more than 75% of the sessions, and the employer completes a satisfactory mid point and sign off review. We then create a non accredited cert with the completion date as the last date of attendance for the WEX aim for audit. Placements don't contribute to the QAR stats anyway but they will probably contribute to future funding allocations? Might be something in this guidance...
