Hi Sam, It would be good to hear if anyone knows any different but my thought is you wouldn't be able to use the proof they had applied for the extension as there is nothing to say it will be approved.

Hi Steve, Thank you for your reply. July would still be over 12 months yes. So I just wanted to confirm your thought here; So we would move the planned end date forwards to July and add a note that the hours planned are based on the full duration calculated, and that the full OTJ hours remain the same figure as originally planned to be completed, but that the planned end date for practical has been agreed to be brought forward a month to mid July due to the calculated end date landing in August (which is a month the learner would not be contractually working due to term time only)? The hours are already marginally compressed due to being term time only yes, and we already have a statement signed that this is understood and agreed by all to cover all term time only learners as per the funding rules. My thought is they wouldn't be further compressed for the learner or disadvantage them in any way as they would still be completing the same number of originally planned OTJ hours technically within the same term time period they had with or without moving the date.

Hi Ben - Thanks, it was the FRM27 report I was looking at to use so good to have that confirmed! It was the word "can calculate" which made me think it wasn't a "must" and so they must do it at another point perhaps, however I couldn't see anywhere where it states when or how this was done. Hi Ruth - Thanks, Dec/Jan ish fits in with what I had heard before but have never personally seen that email so likely goes to someone else. I lean towards leaving it "automated" and checking the figures at that point as any overlap would make this confusing. Thank you both for your help.

Hi, I don't know if this is helpful or relevant. I queried with the ESFA about the end date no longer being available to see and they had said I needed to still see this to prove they were able to complete the apprenticeship within their time approved in the UK. I called the Home Office about the date no longer being present in the hope they could guide me to know what to ask the individual for this evidence. I was informed by the Home Office that the end date on the Right to Work you see when viewing the share code would match the visa end date. This would only be applicable for those with a pre-settled status of course, as settled status individuals have indefinite leave to remain, but would give a date for us to check against.

Hi Steve, Were they withdrawn into a previous funding year? I have seen it happen for that before.

Hi Christina, Yes, I believe it should be in the remittance as Dean mentions. In the recent 24/25 funding rules recording they did a section on confirming aspects regarding the Care Leaver payments and they mentioned then that the 1st payment would show in the reports but the 2nd and 3rd payment would show on the remittance. Nothing was mentioned about that changing, but would be great if they could always show in the reports!
