The course in question is Warehousing related and the learner has said they know what packing materials are but not how they are used and how they are used makes up around 90% to 95% of the unit/lesson, I would say its part of a larger session and not really something they wouldn't need to do at all. I think we could argue in an audit that the learner still need to learn a vast majority of the unit as part of their delivery.

It's not really work the reduction at all. When I have spoken with the tutor about the qualification its not like a full unit is known by the learner, but more that they know a small section of a single unit. I think it worked out at about 1.39% of the course.

Hi Michelle I had a quick look at the funding rules for 22/23 and my interpretation is the learner would need to have the right to work in England as well as an Eligible Residency Status. It would be worth having a look through the funding rules doc at Annex A: Eligibility Criteria on page 136 to 145 to see if she fits into any of them categories. Hi Tara Withdrawing the learner from one training provider and then doing the same with a different one to finish off would be fine. The new training provider should do a Skill Scan with the apprentice to show any recognised prior learning and in turn reduce the time and cost of the course so that the learner is only sitting the remainder that they haven't done yet. The only cost to the employer would be the 5% co-investment for the amount after the skill scan unless they are a levy payer.

Easy fix in the end it turned out one of the Co-investment evidence had not uploaded properly on our system. All sorted now thanks for the help.

The learner is planning on going into the next level after completing their level 2 and we are looking into why the completion hasn't come through for the learner with the ESFA online help desk but its being a slow process so far. We have no data locks for the learner and have recorded the co-investment payments from the employer as they are a non-levy so it has us a bit stumped at the moment. Thanks for the advice both!
