Hi, you can still claim the certificate, but you won't receive the completion payment due to the stop. The following is from the Apprenticship Service Support page: Data lock 10 The employer stopped payments for this apprentice. You should only stop an apprenticeship when the apprentice has completely withdrawn from their apprenticeship. If you have a data lock 10 after an apprentice has withdrawn, check that the training provider has updated the completion status on the ILR. If the employer stopped the apprenticeship by accident: Levy employers - you will need to start a new apprenticeship record and backdate the stopped record to its start date. Non-levy employers - you will need to create a new reservation, from the current month. Hope this helps :)

It doesn't seem fair when so much work goes into an apprentice passing a standard. Thanks :)

It's in the ILR spec too, so yes confusing - wasn't sure if i was doing something wrong, eg when a learner has been made redundant, should I have been adding it. Thanks Ruth Canham-James

Hi all, I know I may sound like I'm really not understanding this rule at all, but one of our Awarding organsiations is not accepting Grade 1 as an exemption for a current learner. Will this rule only come into effect 1st August or am I right in understanding that it is in relation to all apprentices now? Thanks

Hi, I was unsure as some the new rules apply to new starts from 31st Aug only, then others to all learners on programme after 31st July, but this one is worded differently. What about the ruling regarding attempting L2? Thanks

Hi all, so does this rule apply to all apprentices even if they are due to complete 23/24? thanks

That actually makes sense, perhaps the ILR looks at the FFI first then the employer indicator - I will try it, thanks.

In the Evidence section of the Funding & Performance Management Guidance it states that you need evidence of employer contributions, but it seems a bit daft evidencing that you've paid yourself as a employer/provider. Not sure if any other providers have come across this scenario? Thanks
