Thank you both for your responses, I'm not aware that DAS would tell the employer about the learner exceeding the cap, surprised they wouldn't have queried this with us if they received that warning message. I can see from LRS that she was on programme for 6 months with the first provider and 12 months with the second, but as that was back in 2018 and 2019 and the learner now works for a different employer, the initial assessment still highlighted significant gaps in her knowledge/skills/behaviour and so the Apprenticeship is still the best solution for her and the employer. I'll see what information the Service Desk come back to me with but my gut feeling is that this learner will end up being withdrawn from the Apprenticeship :-(

Thanks for the reply Kelly, both learners prior attainment is below L3 so from what I understood they were eligible for the aim via National Skills Fund (the aim isn't on the legal entitlement list)...

Yes I ran a file through SLD first thing today and they are now showing as warnings and not errors...

Just received this response from the Service Desk: "We have detected a defect with the LearnAimRef_89 error and the rule is being changed to a warning while this is investigated. Please resubmit your data on or after 19 August 2021. Apologies for the inconvenience caused." Steve

Hi, I have the same problem and was just about to post on here, I've emailed the Service Desk too so we'll see what they say. Same situation for me, all old style Functional Skills that are part of Apprenticeship learners, all of the aims listed as an ‘error’ have an end date prior to August 2021 (either withdrawn or achieved) however the Apprenticeship is still on-going for the 21/22 contract year which is why they are included in the ILR. Steve

Yes I've also submitted a query earlier as hardly any of our AEB aims are on the E&T raw report (over 2,000 missing)... Steve

Good timing with this post as I was just about to ask the same thing! We have an Apprenticeship learner who enrolled in April with a non-levy employer who has set up a record on the Apprenticeship Service and everything seemed fine as we have been paid for last month. However I have now found out that there was a larger levy employer that had agreed to transfer some of their funds to the non-levy employer but this doesn’t seem to have happened (showing in reports like your example). I have no idea how this can be rectified, whether it is something we can do as the Training Provider or if the employer needs to do something? Steve

Hi Martin, I had an email from the ESFA when I sent a different query last month and they said: "All ESFA funding for ESFA funded AEB contracts for services will end on the 31 July 2021. Any learners who started learning before this date and have not completed their programmes on or before the 31 July 2021 will not be funded by the ESFA. Any ESFA funding for AEB contract for services from 1 August 2021 will be a new contract, determined as part of the AEB procurement, and will be for new starts only." So just thought I'd post the question on here to see if others had heard similar information or had suggestions on what to do in August for those that don't finish by the end of July... Steve

Hi Phil, I thought that might be it but had a feeling that if a learner achieved the Traineeship (successful progression) that the 14 day duration didn't need to be met? Steve
