Hi Faye, it's usually the 14th working day of each month so it would be around the 21st May.

Thanks Ruth and that was my feeling too. No involvement required at this stage from new employer but I have asked our EPAO in case.

This is what I received from the service desk. I am not 100% convinced this is the most appropriate advice as the RPL calculation will lead us to a different price than if we were using the residual amount... Nothing mentioned on OTJ so assume it is a new calculation? You would use their previous learners apprenticeship as entry for the new Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) entry when entering the apprenticeship details. This, in turn, would also adjust the price based on the previous learning from this apprenticeship.

We are in a similar scenario. Does anyone know when you restart a withdrawal, whether the OTJ needs to be recalculated for the remaining period and used on the ILR?

We were going to save the email agreement down for those who decide to continue, as technically no changes to the training plan. For those who decide to drop off, then we would issue an updated version. I'd also like to hear what others are planning for this

Haven't come across this but I don't think we would allow this on the basis if the apprentice is off work then it is not taking place during normal working hours and would fall short of OTJ requirements?

I have been rounding up for co-investment, but only to two decimal places! I'll find out what's being churned out in the ILR file. Thank you everyone

We also use ECCTIS as a database that confirms whether they are equivalent or not. Alternatively you could ask the learner to get a Statement of Comparability but there is a fee for this and the outcome may be that it is not equivalent: https://enic.org.uk/Qualifications/SOC/Default.aspx

I agree with Louise, I use the Apps Monthly Payments as the primary source of info on where our funding is coming from, or in this case, where it may need to be collected from employers. It will show you a breakdown of levy payments, ESFA co-investment and employer co-investment. In your Period End Reports there will also be 'co-investment' reports as Louise outlines - I tend to use that for reconciliation purposes e.g. when a learner withdraws, checking have we collected 100% of the co-investment due.
