Yes as long as its eligible then you can fund them for their first L3 under the 19-23 legal entitlement route. Not sure on the list of quals. Hopefully find a learning aim will be updated or a new list is provided by the ESFA

If you're a ESFA grant contract holder its a mandatory requirement as the main provider and subcontractor. This is confirmed in the condition of grant document, under the IAG section

I know you weren't asking me but just to say I responded to the ESFA in relation to the clarification version of the Apprenticeship rules and asked that they make it clear in the Apprenticeship rules if we should see evidence or accept a swlf declaration. Personally if a learner hasn't applied for pre/settled status it means they are not legal in the UK so I feel its important we do check evidence but thats just my opinion, we're all entitled to one. K

Bils and Annual Leave have7 always been a no no as its short term absence. Is the public holidays part new? Generally if its under 4 weeks you dont do anything.

It's for L2 apprentices that would normally have to attempt the L2 exam. They had previously extended this for anyone with end dates up to this month, its now extended to December. So if your apprentice was due to go through getaway/complete their framework before 31st December they now dont have to attempt the L2 exam. I hope this helps. K

Its always been a PLR or copies of certs. PLR must state award date and grade. If its an overseas qual then a conversion statement from UK Naric (or whatever they are called now) and copies of the learners certificates Hope this helps

because they are only eligible if they have applied for the status, therefore you need to see evidence they've done this

That is allowed for distance learning provision under AEB but I'm not sure about Apprenticeships - I'm guessing their thinking is how do you know they actually did anything on that day. Maybe you could change your process and do some work with them on a unit etc, not talk through them what units are covered etc as that is really induction topics. It's a diffficult one I know.
