Hi David Yes, if you're doing it by hand (or bulk upload!) I don't think it's an issue, I think it's only where LRS and your MIS are directly talking to each other.

Hi Christina This happens every year, I suspect the agreed format for the sample doesn't yet exist (I understand the tender process for Audit is happening right now). Would expect it back end of Jan? Although with the audit calendar all to pot, might be a bit later this year...

D&P records need to be *the day after* the latest actual end date, not the same day (if I had a penny for every time I had to fix this ;)) ULN out of range usually means you've got a 9 digit number rather than 10? It runs a checksum on it as well, so if there are 10 digits, there might be a transposition error when it's been typed in?

So, FRM08 just shows you anyone that's been out for a year and is *not* linked to the QAR calculation. There is no restriction (provided the Framework or Standard is still available) on how long a break can be. The QAR Rule about breaks is learners have to miss a *whole academic year of returns* AND not be back by the subsequent R04 to be a fail, HOWEVER, if they do then return, they'll count positively eventually. So, because your learner was active in 19/20, as long as they're back by R04 in 21/22 it won't be an issue. (yes this is a bit unfair on learners who go on a break in June/July, but there we are)

Hi Christina Yes, Study Programmes often include a Work Experience element, but on most courses it would be a week or two at most. If the learners were on the aim as a plan but didn't actually go out, the provider *should* have removed it, but it's not always the case that this is picked up (and because Work Exp is excluded from the QAR stats, marking it as "achieved" wouldn't flag up anywhere either!) If you're satisfied the learners have little to no experience of the workplace (and I'd argue a week of Work Experience is "little" at best!) then I can't see any issue with putting them on a Traineeship.

Hi Louise! This was exactly my question back after getting this. I think it *implies* we don't change the date, just the Outcome field, but asked for confirmation. After all, the field isn't about *achievement* (despite it's annoying name) but completion.
