Hi Tom, Normally it would need to showcase you the school is etc. and if there currently sitting them it maybe best to wait for official results and paperwork. If in doubt it is worth checking in with the EPAO if if you have already agreed one with the employer. I know some EPAO's we work with follow the old FWK ACE guidance: https://acecerts.co.uk/web/acceptable-evidence/pre Thanks Sarah

Hi Ashley, The entry tool does not support bulk uploads. It supports XML files only from previous contract years when importing for R01 (for example). If you were then to import another XML if will wipe out the data already held, so its normally one import into the Tool for R01 onwards. If you then have new starts or changes in 22/23 these need to be done manually in the entry tool for that contract year.

Hi Martin, Thank you for your thoughts. The last component element refers to the EPA element, i.e. professional discussion (just amended post to make clearer) . The spec itself states "This field will be used to record the end of the apprenticeship standard. This date concludes the End point assessment period that has taken place on or after 1 August 2019" - which could be taken two ways: the end of the actual EPA where they are certificated the last element as the learner as the assessment period for the EPA has now ended for them (unless of course failed) It seems to be an interesting subject based on people I have chatted to. I have sent a query to the ESFA to ask them for clarification on this question, interested to see what they will say and I hope its not the usual answer of read the rulings :) Many Thanks Sarah

Hey, I am not sure about an exemption declaration part but you could always refer them to the funding rules, P237 which states: Supplies of training or end-point assessment, which are paid by government funding, including the apprenticeship levy, are exempt from VAT. That might suffice for evidence for them (Hopefully) Thanks

Hey, my understanding is that they are not funded through AEB due to clause 199.

Hi Martin, Yeah we use the gateway point :) for ILR, was just sense checking the OTJ part as it went round in circles and then you doubt!

Steve Hewitt - Thank you so much for your response, helps a lot. Random question, how did you get to be as good as you are? you seem to know everything the communities throws up in questions or know exactly where to look :)
