Yeah never been able to get a straight answer from the ESFA on this one. However we have never had it queried on any audits for including a 3 hour induction on our plans. I think its more about showing that you have a cost incurred. Chris

Ours was the other way round I signed it in the SLD then it came through to show in the MyESF section as complete.

Hi Martyn Its a new FAM code which should sit in your leaner FAM section within the ILR. Same place as where you put things like EDF1 Eligibility for disadvantage funding. Have Aptem fully updated their system for 25-26 yet? Is the error you're getting from the SLD after uploading an ILR?

If you look at your month end reports from the DFE, there is one called Maths and English report. This will highlight any learners not meeting COF in year.

These just make up part of your 5% tolerance for this year Neil, soon to be 2.5% next year. As long as you're recording your start and end dates against the attendance I'm not sure there is anything you can do to avoid them. Students must pass a qualifying period for each maths and English qualification before it counts. The qualifying period is: 6 weeks for a qualification with a planned length of 24 weeks or more 2 weeks for a qualification with a planned length of less than 24 weeks
