We have come to the same conclusion - so will still do them for 16-18 year olds. Not sure what the auditor would want to see for Discussion evidence. I guess you could develop a simplified/shorter skills scan for 16-18 year olds.

Do you know if the ESFA did actually announce the launch of this new Apprenticeship Agreement on the 19th October 2023 anywhere? I did not see it in the Update.

I wonder if PICs can get this sorted in time for the CSV Uploads to DAS? Would have to input the original duration and negotiated price to calculate the difference. 11 days reduction = 1 week OR 1.636 weeks OR 2 weeks? I would have thought days would be better if you don't allow decimals and don't provide any guidance and with 11 days notice. Then if you want it in weeks use a formula, that I can provide if required.

Not sure a form will do for the evidence of employment. But at least getting the payslip would help with the PAYE evidence. Will the ESFA be updating the Apprenticeship Service so that you can see the employers PAYE - or is there a way you can see it at the moment? "The employment is for a period which is long enough for the apprentice to complete the apprenticeship successfully" - makes me think of someone who could not sign up for an apprenticeship at the moment. How you can evidence this is beyond me - can we evidence there will be no bankruptcy/epidemic/war/etc. Should it be: "They are employed on a permanent contract or a temporary contract that covers the apprentice until the planned end of the apprenticeship." Cheers

Did you delete the old broken apprentice request? We got an employer to resend and we got their two starts on with the new apprentice request. Yes we use to use the dummy apprentice approach. I did not realise you could use multiple employers in the same CSV, good to know. The question is will PICs allow you to do this? Cheers

Thanks for confirming not just our AS account. They have changed the way you add new apprentice details to a first option of upload CSV or manually. I think this has broken any Apprentice Request you got in before the date of that change. So new request will work but your old ones have had it - unless they can fix it!!! I'll see if we can get our employers to resend their apprentice requests - 6 employers for us.

The funding rules explain what an ATA is, but does not say you must be one to deliver like that? So you just miss out the LDM = 130 code. The Flexi-Job Apprenticeship Agencies is not even in the funding rules yet. People use to put on their car - "Tax Disc in the post". Can you say ATA application waiting for register to reopen and deliver using the model? There are only 111 ATAs, so would not be that difficult to have the ATA register open all the time?
