Thank you so much Steve Hewitt I was almost there. I did look at the PSM but could not find the page you sent, thank you.

Thank you Steve Hewitt, yes he was 19 years old. He had applied to the Marines at 18 and was told the 3year residency was okay because of flexibilities (if that's the right words) but was not able to continue in his application so going doing the apprenticeship route, he has since turned 19 so we are doing some further checks and hope that we can help him.

Ruth Canham-James we've asked why they need to see this and their rational is below. As per point 234 of the rules published by the ESFA, it states the following: “You must report the employer’s details in the ILR within 60 days of the traineeship start date. The work placement does not need to start within 60 days and can be recorded as a future start date on the ILR.” Therefore, as part of our audit testing we need to prove that the above has been adhered to. I understand that the ILR documents are quite large, so if you feel there would be a more appropriate way to evidence the above then please do let me know, otherwise we would need to see copies of the ILR’s. we would need to see evidence of the dates that the details were entered into the ILR for each specific traineeship and corroborate this with the traineeship start dates as per the documents already provided. The most appropriate method to do this would be to provide a copy of the ESFA receipt with the supporting data.

Hello, We don't use Maytas but use PICs and we have commercial apprentices that need to go in our ILR return in order for the EPAO's to certificate the apprenticeship.

Morning, Does this mean that potentially even though the ILR says xyz which cannot be updated as long as we have agreed the change with the employer and have updated commitment statement potentially the learner could work to a different OTJ and planned end date? We have one learner who declared x hours of employment at the start (part time) but has since told us they are y hours (full time) which could potentially mean their planned end date and OTJ could change while still keeping 20% minimum OTJ. Thank you. Christina

Good Morning, Can you confirm whether for employers that already have a valid EDS number that we must still input their EDS number in the ILR or are we able to use the 99999999 code? I think one of our departments has applied a blanket 999999 policy and would like to nip it in the bud (if need be). Also for traineeship work placements must the EDS be returned rather than the 99999999 code as this morning I have a WokPlaceEmpID_03 and the guidance only mentions EmpID13 being left as warning and not needing updating. Many thanks

Martin West our two learners were not on the Apprenticeship Service to start with so we cannot move them. When we try and put them on the AS with the new levy employer we get the error message "This training course is only available to apprentices with a start date before 08 2020"

thank you Steve Hewitt it was loosely point 5 in the ESFA update. I wish others thought it was good thing to put the commercial Apps in our ILR. So far we haven't had too in order to get their final certificate but I know we have a batch due to complete so they will soon come round.
