Only limited companies have register at Companies House, we certainly do not expect our employers to appear there, if we did we would not have many construction apprentices ! To get an AS account they have to link to their PAYE ? would this not prove their validity ?

Yes, we still have a service agreement with employers. We include it in our multi multi tabbed Excel Training Plan (AKA commitment statement)

I think this is a unit within a larger GNVQ qualification. I don't think it would exempt the learner as it would not have been externally examined. If the learner is doing a standard then it would be up to the EPAO as to whether they accept it.
