That's my understanding too. We have an apprentice employed 1 September starting apprenticeship 5 May - they now seem to be eligible. My understanding was that under the previous rules apprentices employed in March could not claim incentives where they started apprenticeships in April - this new rule allows for some overlap.

Similar to Kelly, we log learning and contact hours for their FDOL in their e-portfolio accounts. We also encourage them to submit a short learning activity on the same date.

There might be a delay between uploading in SLD and availability in DAS though.

We have a learner currently on a break who is included in the figure - they were PPLED at the time of going on a break. I thought they would be excluded on the basis they have an actual end date.... am I missing something?

Hi Sharon, I can't offer any additional advice but we are also in the same boat with very intermittent service from our account manager. We try to use the support portal/ticket system as much as we can.

We seem to have a mixture of both, learners who are in gateway (completion 1, outcome 8) and learners who are PPLED but still in learning (completion 1, outcome 9).
