Hi, from https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/apprenticeship-technical-funding-guide/apprenticeship-technical-funding-guide-from-august-2023#Coinvestmentwaiver (my bold): Where an apprentice changes employer (after 1 April 2024), and remains on the same apprenticeship, then the following will apply if the original start date is: a) prior to 1 April 2024, then the co-investment waiver will not apply to the new employer (the new employer will be required to pay co-investment) b) on or after 1 April 2024, then the non-levy status of the new employer (when the apprentice begins their new employment), and the age of the apprentice when they started their apprenticeship (with the original employer) will determine whether we waive co-investment Sounds like point (a) applies in your case.

In theory LDM codes can be used on devolved ILR (and you are correct the DAM codes are only for devolved learners). You would need to check the guidance issued by the devolved body concerned to identify particular requirements - for example the GLA gives guidance in this pdf https://www.london.gov.uk/media/101020/download?attachment?attachment and in there a quick search for 'LDM' finds 9 references.

Hi Nicole Campbell, Not aware of anything for non-apps. The reason for holding it for apprenticeships is to remove the need for recording employer contributions on the ILR. Other programmes don't have that requirement in the first place.

Hi, with apprenticeships LDM code 356 is used to "identify apprenticeship programmes on Funding model 36 that are being delivered by an employer to their own employees, and so do not require co-investment payments to be recorded on the ILR". Nothing apart from that on ILR.

Hi, Yes validation rule AchDate_11 requires the dates as per the message you have received. The total duration of learning doesn't affect that.

Peter Hancock, yes I had a feeling it was about using ZZ99 so searched on that rather than the word 'postcode'!

I think this section in https://guidance.submit-learner-data.service.gov.uk/23-24/psm/article/sending-data-to-the-ESFA#article-Postcode%20validation may apply? Postcode validation It is important that postcodes are correctly formatted, this includes the space between the two parts of the postcode. Postcodes with two spaces will fail validation when the data is uploaded to the online service. Most postcode fields in the ILR are mandatory fields and cannot be left blank. For mandatory postcode fields, if the postcode is unknown or does not apply then a value of ZZ99 9ZZ should be recorded. For the Learning start date postcode field and if the learner's postcode is unknown or not yet updated on the ONS postcode table (i.e. a new build), providers must return a postcode of ZZ99 9ZZ.

Hi, as per the technical funding guide section 6 and 6.2, assuming this applies then co-investment is not required up (up to the band max): Co-investment up to the funding band maximum is not required if the apprentice: and employer are eligible for the extra support for small employers described in the extra support for small employers for starts up to 31 March 2024 section of this guidance. Note this exception is only for starts up to and including 31 March 2024 starts their apprenticeship training, on or after 1 April 2024, with an employer who does not pay the apprenticeship levy and the apprentice is either aged: a) up to 21 at the start of their apprenticeship training, meaning 16 to 21 years old at the start (or 15 years of age if the apprentice’s 16th birthday is between the last Friday of June and 31 August) b) 22 to 24 at the start of their apprenticeship training and have been, or are, in the care of a UK local authority or has an Educational Health Care plan

Hi, I'm a bit out of the loop on these, probably best to check with PICS support. Are you thinking of the new aim FAM codes for Event Indicators? PSM has some guidance on the principle, basically adding the relevant FAM codes (and 'from' date) to the programme aim. HTH
