Hi Martina, I have been checking this and referred back to when the past academic years have been released. 2019-2020 was released 23/8/2019; 2020-2021 was released 4/8/2020 and 2021-2022 was released 11/8/2021. I am assuming it could be anytime, there does not seem to be any set pattern so we just need to keep checking the Submit Learner Database daily I guess. Lisa

Hi Leanne, We decided to take the decision that our applicant is not eligible for an apprenticeship as they are self employed, a Director of a company. This was based on the information from the Funding Rules which states as follows:- "Self-employed and contractor A person is self-employed if they run their business for themselves and take responsibility for its success or failure. Self-employed workers are not paid through PAYE and they do not have the employment rights and responsibilties of employees" It was also felt that the applicant is not in the category of being "employed by an employer", also there would be little or no on job training provided as the applicant is running the company. Hi Louise, That is extremely helpful, thank you. It was in my mind that each learner would most likely need to study for Functional Skills English with it not being the first language. I think this is a situation that will become more familiar as the frequency is increasing. I appreciate your help and advice. Best regards Lisa
