Hi Hollie, Sorry to jump on the post again, is there a preferred way in which we could link up regarding the workings of the supported internships? Best wishes Kirsty

Thanks for getting back to me, I would appreciate having any support, the reason I was searching for guidance was regarding the use of Access to Work and the high needs support elements we claim under the study programme, I have been asked to clarify when A2W can be used if we have already received high needs funding, the guidance states to avoid double funding with Access to Work, would a scenario be that for areas above what is already covered with these funds that impact the students placement or abilities we could also apply for (or the learner) A2W for covering any additional cost that were not covered in the high needs funding? Thanks for your help.

Hi Hollie, I have come across your post while seeking guidance .This is our 1st year offering Supported Internships, I am not sure if you had built a bank of peers to share good practice and offer each other support, in the case you had I would appreciate linking up and becoming part of external peer led support. Best wishes Kirsty

Thank you, My issue is that their is PLH in the August due to late completions from the 23/24 year when the code was valid and now they are returning this year for a new year of study on a new ILR they are reporting as errors because of the august hours in the ILR from the 23/24 year. Would you have any suggestions on how to resolve this, would I remove the code from the 23/24 ILR? They completed their 23/24 study in August 24 due to being late completers.

Hi Chris, Thank you for adding to the post, this would be for a Level 2 Award in Progression, the credit values between an award and certificate are too much of a jump, the qualification offers a broad range off opportunities. Unfortunately the qualification does not have an step in-between such as an extended award at this level which would have bridged the gap towards the certificate.

Thank you for your support, and yes perfect sense with the non regulated aim, when it comes to the learner completing and hopefully achieving the award (credits of the same value) again would this be ok to report as achievement again using the unit certificates to confirm the credit values would have generated the Award if not previously achieved? Thanks again

Within the COF guidance it states to check the FALA site for learning aims - if you don't have a list to check you can in the 1st instance tick the Math and English box for EFA condition of funding and then use the filters to search your AO. [image] Guidance: Qualifications that meet the condition have a validity record in the learning aim reference service (LARS) in either the category ‘EFACONFUNDMATHS’ or ‘EFACONFUNDENGLISH’. Institutions must check the status of qualifications using find a learning aim before enrolling students to ensure that the qualification is approved and valid at the time of enrolment.

Thank you Chris, it was more to have one reporting function to follow with tracking their placements etc and the now actual revised planned end date being present on the system - however we have a secondary tracking tool to ensure nothing is missed and will record the additional hours along with actual end date when appropriate. Thank you for responding its very much appreciated
