I don't *think* they mean the methodology is changing, just that the "alignment" is us getting the data along with Ofsted and the Agency like schools will. That's my reading of it anyway! Obviously nothing published yet, but this seems to me to be precisely the wrong time to make any fundamental changes to the calculation... My main question about this data is will it come with national averages, even if they're not published separately? Bit of a pain if it doesn't...

Hi Ali Good point! I've assumed that levy payers who run out continue to have unlimited access to 95% funding as they don't have to reserve, which is where the cap comes in. Given the parlous state of starts at the moment, can't seen any change to this coming soon!

Yes, I think this is, for want of a better word "fine"! Not least because there's no requirement for an employee to start their App on their first day of employment so, as I understand it, provided their employment began after the start of August, the employer will be eligible for the incentive.

Short answer is yes. When we were discussing this in April/May, ESFA were very keen that anyone who met the requirements (off programme for more than a month, agreed with employer and apprentice, definitely intending to come back) were put on a break, even if they were past Planned End Date.
