Do you mean "the EPAs happened before July 31 but we didn't know the results when we submitted R12"? Presuming "yes" and presuming those records were still at 1&8 in R12, they'll not be part of your 23/24 cohort *at all* yet, but will all be sorted by R14 WHICH IS THE ONLY QAR DATA THAT MATTERS. Anyone grumbling about your R12 data should a. take a proper look at themselves (and, y'know, the rules) b. be, at worst, asking you politely what you expect the R14 rates to be, not moaning about the R12 ones...

Also, to go back to Jessica De Melo's original point, we don't record Achievement date for Functional Skills regardless of funding stream, it's only used (as Completion Date) for the App Programme aim.

Best to put them as a withdrawal/fail on the last day of learning I think? Like when someone rocks up with their certificate three months in? As FS isn't in any of the QAR data for Apps, I can't see it affecting anything?

Hi Angela There was a very specific technical thing with this a couple of years ago as well (unsure if it's fixed now). Presuming you get the money between next Thursday and R14 closing, you need to record the PMR with a date of 31/7/24 or it gets very confused and doesn't release the completion payment. If you get the money before R13, worth trying it with the real date to see if this has been fixed, but don't be surprised if it hasn't! Then just put a note on the learner's file to say why you've done it, record the real date and that should be fine for audit.

Oh, this is very interesting. I've told the tale many times of one of my learners who had £0.00008 outstanding where the completion payment was not released (must be three or four years ago now), so if your completion payments have come through then it sounds like they've put something in place to stop nonsense like this happening! If it's been released then I'm pretty sure they won't take it back... Would be nice if they actually told us about changes like this though, even where it only affects a handful of weird records...

It's like saying Candyman three times into a mirror ;) Hi, hello! So, delving through the various documents I cannot find anything that says "the employer must sign off the OTJ" so I've no clue why they've put it on the template... Like, how would you even do it with, eg, OneFile? Of course, we're trying to prove a negative to your colleague here which is always more difficult, but it seems unnecessary. For example, registers for classroom delivery would only be signed by the tutor to say the learners were there and they're clearly acceptable evidence.
